Create a Discount

Action

Display

  1. Tap the Discounts icon

  2. Tap the New Item icon ( + ) to create a new Discount

    1. Use the General Information fieldto name the new Discount

    2. From the drop down menu select the appropriate Discount Type

      • Amount Off

      • Percent Off

      • Popup Amount Off

      • Popup Percent Off

      • Popup Set Price

      • Price Level

      • Set Price

    3. Enter Minimum Order Amount in the the text field if applicable

    4. Enter Maximum Order Amount in the text field if applicable

    5. Tick appropriate boxes for Discount

      • Auto Apply On Send

      • Can Only Be Used Once Per Order

3. Tick the appropriate Availability check boxes:

  • Enabled: Turns the Discount on/off

  • Prompt For Note: Forces an Adjustment Reason to be attached to the Discount

4. Select the appropriate Order Types that the discount can be applied to

5. Select the Users permitted to apply the Discount

6. Select appropriate Adjustment Reasons that can be applied to the Discount

7. If the Discount is set to be on a Schedule, follow the instructions on how to Schedule a Pricing Event

8. Tick the check box Available For Only The Items Below if the new Discount is Item Exclusive

  • The New Item button will populate an entry into the list

    • Kind: Set to either Menu Item or Menu Item Group

    • Group/Item: Select the appropriate Menu Item or Menu Item Group the Discount is meant for

      • Edit Specific Locations allows for Location specific handling
