Importing Menu Items from the template below is a quick way to add Menu Items to the system.

Action

Display

  1. Downloadthe Data Transfer - Item Import Template.ODS spreadsheet

  2. Openthe Data Transfer - Item Import Template spreadsheet

    • Enable Editing if spreadsheet opens in Protected View

  3. Input the information required for the import into the spreadsheet:

    • Menu Item Name

    • Price (amount Item is sold for)

    • Menu Group

  4. Input optional information into the spreadsheet:

    • UPC

    • Cost (amount spent to make Item)

  5. Save file as an .ods file type

6. Tap the Data Transfer icon

7. Drag and Drop file or click to browse files to select file for import

8. Select file

9. Click ‘ok’ when Updated Menu Item appears

Action

Display

  1. Tap Menu Item Groups

  2. Locate and tap on appropriate Menu Item Group in left column

  3. Verify new Menu Item appears in Menu Items section
