  1. Tap Terminal on the menu screen (if not already on Terminal screen)

  2. Enter the transaction amount

    1. On

iOS
    1. Apple devices, you will see a line titled “Extras”

    1. . Tap Extras to

add:
  • Tax

  • Convenience Fee

  • Discount

On Android Devices
    1. view or add Fees and Discounts

    2. On Android devices, tap Include Tax to turn taxes and convivence fees On/Off

  • Tap Pay

    • The Payment Details screen will show payment option methods

    • Tap Pay with Cash

    1. Beneath Pay With options, tap Cash on the bottom right of the screen

    2. Enter the dollar amount collected

    3. Press Continue

    4. The Submit Payment screen will display, showing what change, if any, is due back to the customer

    5. Tap Done to complete the sale

      • If desired click Send Receipt, then input the customer’s email and click Send

      • Tap Refund to void/refund the sale

    6. Tap the

    1. X in the top right cornerto return to the Terminal screen

    1. Tap Terminal on the menu screen (if not already on Terminal screen)

    2. Enter the transaction amount

    3. Tap Extras to view and turn taxes/convenience fees On/Off

  • Tap Pay

  • Select
    1. From Payment Details , go to the Pay With options at the bottom of the screen

    2. Tap Credit Card

    3. Swipe, Insert, or

    Dip
    1. Tap the customer's card on the SpotOn card reader

      • As the card is being read, you will see it’s status on the screen

    2. If the card needs to be entered manually, select Enter Manually

      • Fill out the card details:

        • Card Number

        • Expiration Date

        • CVV

      • Tap Submit Payment Info

    3. Iftips are enabled, the customer will be able to choose a tip amount:

      • Preset Percent Options 1-3

      • Custom

      • None

    Tap Complete
    1. If Signature Requirement is enabled, and the transaction amount aligns with the signature settings,

    you will be prompted to have your customer sign
    1. a signature prompt will display for the

    transaction
    1. customer.

      • After acquiring the signature, Tap Submit

    1. The Sale Details screen will display

      • If desired,

    input
      • the customer can receive a receipt viva email by tapping Send Receipt. Input the customer’s email in the

    Email Receipt
      • field and

    click Send
      • tap Send

      • If needed, the transaction van be voided by tapping Void

    1. Tap the

    backarrow
    1. X on the top right cornerto return to the Terminal screen
