Learn how to customize buttons throughout your website.

To Set up a Button

Display

  1. Position your mouse over a section and click Edit.

  2. If buttons are available for the section, you will see a checkbox that says Show Button.

  3. Use Show/Hide Tracking Code if you wish to add a Google Analytics Tracking Code for clicks (only available for banner buttons).

  4. Add the text for your button under Button Text.

  5. Use Link to Page to link to a page within your website using the dropdown menu or to an external page with the complete URL (e.g. http://www.spoton.com).

    1. Check Open Page in New Tab if you want the window to open in a different tab (recommended for external sites).

  6. Save Changes.

Info

A button's color, text color, and text size can be edited using the Button feature of the Styles menu. Not all themes allow for button style customization.
