Remove / Void Item from Order
With SpotOn Restaurant POS it is very easy to remove/void item(s) from orders that were added in error, or that the guest simply changed their mind on. Items that have not been sent to the kitchen (or other) printer, can be removed from an order before they are sent. Items that have already been sent can be voided.
Remove an Item
Items that have not been sent to a printer are identified by a green mark, these items can be removed from the ticket before sending.

Select the item(s) to remove from the ticket
This will open the Item Commands menu
Tap the Remove button
Verify the Item has been removed from the Order

Void an Item
Items that have already been sent to a printer will not have a green mark, these items must be voided.

Select Order with item(s) to be Voided
Select Item, or Items
This will open the Item Commands menu
It is possible to continue to select Items when the Item Commands menu is displayed
Tap the Void button
Select the appropriate reason for the Void from the Select Reason… menu
Note: If more than one item is selected to void, only one reason will be applied to all selected items. If more than one reason is needed, the items will need to be Voided individually.
Verify Item has been voided from the Order
Voided items display with a strike through the Item name and price, and the reason displays in red
