When will I receive my deposits?

Use this guide to determine when you will receive your deposits, based on funding type, and when the payments were batched.

Next Day Funding

2 Day Funding

Must batch by 10:30pm EST, 9:30pm CST, 8:30pm MST, 7:30pm PST to receive next-day funding.

Weekend batching/deposits will be determined by the merchant bank, and the days listed above may not align/apply to your bank.

1. On your Reporting site, select Daily Sales Recap from the Reports menu on the left

2. Under the Payments section, scroll to Total Credit Cards

  • In this example, the Total for Credit Cards is $3,086.08

  • This amount will be deposited in your bank account in two business days, minus any daily processing fees and/or SpotOn Financing

    • To view this, go to your Dashboard (login information will be found in your credentials email received around time of install)

3. On your Dashboard, select Deposits from the menu on the left

4. Select Settlements

5. Use the Date Filter to select the applicable date range, if needed

  • This report will show your separate batches, as each payment device batches simultaneously, but separately

  • If we add up the total batches columns on the deposits received today, the amount will be the same as the Total Credit Cards from the Daily Sales Recap from two days prior

  • In this example, the total Deposits equal the expected $3,086.08

Note: To look up an individual day's Batch on the Settlements page, use the date filter.

Next Day Funding: If you're looking up the deposit(s), for example, for 01/04/2022, you'll want to look at the date on dashboard one day later, 01/05/2022.

Two Day Funding: If you're looking up the deposit(s), for example, for 01/04/2022, you'll want to look at the date on dashboard two days later, 01/06/2022.

  • Total Fees are processing fees if you have opted for daily as opposed to monthly fees

  • Total Others are any chargebacks, as well as daily 1% taken out for Hardware Financing, if applicable

  • Remember, weekends/holidays will impact the day the deposits are received in the bank

  • Must batch by 10:30pm EST, 9:30pm CST, 8:30pm MST, 7:30pm PST to receive next-day funding.
