Does SpotOn Website provide email address services?

We can set up email forwarding at no additional cost if you are registering a new domain through us.

Emails written to your business address (i.e @mybusinessname.com) will be sent to your personal email inbox. (i.e @gmail.com, @hotmail.com, etc.)

Are there any startup fees?

There are no startup fees.


How many pages can I put on my website?

In addition to the 6 pages designed by your specialist, you can also request additional pages designed by your specialist for an additional fee.


How long does it take to make a website?

Once we receive all of your content for your website, it will take about 48 business hours.


Can you build me a portal for my employees or customers to log into?

If you have a 3rd party login portal, we can link it to your website through a URL for your customers to use!

We are currently unable to build custom software or apps for your website.


Can you insert software right into the website?

You can add links to your website that redirect to third-party software. You can also add supported widgets using the HTML section on the website editor.

Can I play videos directly on my website?

Yes, we can add videos from different platforms using their URL.

Video privacy must be set to public. 


Can I play audio directly on my website?

You can add audio from SoundCloud as part of the Projects Feature or embed an iFrame player from SoundCloud or Spotify using the HTML Section if embedding is supported by the 3rd party.

Can I just build the website myself?

Once your website is live, you'll have Content Editor access, allowing you to oversee imagery and text with the possibility to publish any change made. However, for security purposes, certain layout and advanced features will be restricted. If you need to implement changes with higher complexity, our design specialists will be on hand to assist you.

How many changes can I submit to my specialist?

You can submit up to 2 revision rounds per month included in your package. 

Each call and email is counted as a round, so it is best to group several changes into one call or email.

If you need additional revision rounds you can request them at an additional fee.


Do I own the domain I registered with SpotOn?

SpotOn will own the domain as long as you continue our website services with us. If you choose to leave SpotOn, we can release the domain for you to transfer to your new host.

As per ICANN regulations, newly registered domains cannot be unlocked for transfer until after 60 days from registration or last transfer. Learn more.


Can SpotOn take over my current website and just make changes to that?

Our websites are platform-based. Therefore, while we can make a website that is similar in layout and design to your current site, we are unable to transfer it to our platform. We will build a new site within our template guidelines and strive to create a similar design.

You can always start with something fresh and new! We are happy to help you meet your needs.


I want to use the domain I bought previously for the website being built by SpotOn. Is this possible?

Yes! We can connect your SpotOn website to your existing domain. Just let your specialist know and provide them with access to the registrar where you originally purchased your domain (GoDaddy, Name, Google Domains, etc.). They will assist you in making the connection.

Your third-party registrar will continue to charge you renewal fees.


Can my sales representative just help build the site for me?

To provide you with the best service, our team of specialists is in charge of your site build. However, communication between you and our team can be handled by your sales representative with your written approval, or you may speak directly with our specialists.

Can I add Online Ordering to my SpotOn Website?

Definitely! We can link Online Ordering accounts to websites for clients of SpotOn Restaurant who have compatible hardware and software. Just let your specialist know that you would like your service linked. Learn more.

If you have an existing online ordering system from a third party, you may provide us with the link to add it to your website.


Can customers check their loyalty on my website?

Customers can check their loyalty points by logging into our app. We can also add badges to your website that will allow users to easily find the app. Just let your specialist know you would like to add this feature.


Can I add the SpotOn Loyalty sign-up widget to my website?

Yes, you can integrate the SpotOn Loyalty sign-up widget into your website for a seamless customer experience.


Can I add the SpotOn Reserve widget to my website?

Yes, you can integrate the SpotOn Reserve widget into your website for a seamless customer experience.
