Report Groups
There are two types of Report Groups; Parent Report Groups and Child Report Groups. Parent Report Groups are very general, and encompass numerous Child Report Groups. For example the Parent Group, FOOD, would hold Child Groups such as Burgers, Appetizers, Sides, Soups, etc. Child Report Groups are typically named for the Menu Item Groups they contain.
Create Parent Report Group

Tap the Report Groups icon Tap the New Item icon ( + ) to create a new Report Group In the General Information section, name the Report Group

Create Child Report Group

Tap the Report Groups icon Tap the New Item icon ( + ) to create a new Report Group In the General Information section, name the Report Group Child Report Groups typically share their name with the Menu Item Group they contain, i.e., Desserts, Appetizers, Burgers, etc..
Use the drop down menu to assign a Parent Group, i.e., (FOOD), (BEER), (BEVERAGES), etc..

Verify New Report Groups

Navigate back to Report Groups Select the newly created Parent Report Group Confirm the newly created Child Report Group is visible in the General Information section
