Create Main Menu Screen

The Main Menu Screen will house all the Menu Screen Buttons. Each of the Menu Screens that have just been created will be an option to add as a button to the Main Menu Screen. For the Main Menu Screen only the lower section of the Menu Screen Editor is used.

Tap the New Item icon ( + ) to create a new Menu Screen
In the General Information section use the text field to name this new Menu Screen
- As this is the Main Menu Screen, it is easiest to name it “Main Menu”
Use the drop down menu to set the Quantity Bar Mode to “Left”
Tap in the blank area of Layout Preview to access the Menu Screen Editor page
Tap the lower panel to access the Add… Menu options

6. Select the Screen Button option

7. Select the Menu Screen that you’ve just created

Step 7 is necessary for navigation. In the FOH as you add Menu Items to Orders you will need a way to return to the Main Menu from each Menu Screen

8. Add a button for each Menu Screen that has been created to the lower section

9. Tap on the top panel to add a Menu Group List

This should be something that is consistently ordered, like appetizers, beverages or specials. Having Menu Items, like appetizers, right on the Main Menu can save time
You can add numerous Menu Group Lists

10. When the Main Menu Screen is complete, use the Menu Screen tab in the top left to return to the Menu Screens
