Scheduled Orders

SpotOn Restaurant POS makes scheduling orders in advance very simple. Often, restaurants will receive requests for orders to be available at a certain date/time in the future.

1. Begin new order by tapping the New Order button or selecting a Menu Item

2. Select appropriate Menu Items

3. Tap the top left corner to access the Ticket Commands menu

4. Select Edit Order Schedule

5. In the Date section tap the date/time button

6. Select the date and time the Order is requested for, tap Accept

7. Set the Minutes Before to Release to the number of minutes required to prep the Order

8. Do not check the ‘Close on Release if Balance is Zero’ box

9. Add Notes if applicable and tap Accept

10. The text at the top of the ticket will now be in yellow, indicating that it is a Scheduled Order and will stay active on the system until the date and time requested

11. Any scheduled orders can be viewed by toggling the order status on the List Orders screen

12. When ready to apply the payment, click the Payment button

  • Payment can be taken at the time the order is taken, when it is ready, or any time between

13. Apply desired payment

  • Payment can be in full, or partial. Partial payments would be used in scenarios like a venue rental deposit, or a guest making payment installations on an order.

14. Do not close the ticket. Once payment is applied, leave ticket until the day of the Order Request

  • Ticket will activate at the time requested and move from Scheduled Orders to Open Orders
