OLO Schedule Override (BOH)

There are two different ways to choose a schedule change, by weekday or date.

Display

  1. Tap Locations

  2. Scroll to the Dineloyal/SpotOn Online Ordering Settings

  3. In the Schedule line, tap on View/Edit to open the SpotOn Order Schedule page

  4. In the Overrides section, tap ( + ) Add New Override

    • To set Schedule Override by Date, go to Step 5

    • To set Schedule Override by Weekday, skip to Step 11

Schedule Override by Date

Specific recurring dates can be selected for override, for example Christmas or New Years Day. The hours of operation can also be adjusted for that date, i.e., the restaurant is open New Years Day, but with reduced hours.

5. Use the Closed checkbox to indicate if this date will be available or unavailable for OLO

6. In the Override Kind drop down menu, select Date

7. If this date will have the same availability every year, i.e., Christmas Day or New Year’s Day, check Repeats Every Year

8. Tap Choose Date

  • Use the forward/back arrows to scroll to the desired month, or tap the month name to access a drop down menu and select the appropriate month

  • Select the desired day

9. If the restaurant will be accepting orders from SpotOn Order on this day, but with reduced or extended hours, set the From and To times in each Order Type

At least one of the Order Types need hours defined if not Closed

10. Tap Save when Override Settings complete

Set Override by Weekday

If the restaurant closes every Friday at a different time than usual, you would select Weekday. The Override will automatically repeat every week until deleted or adjusted.

11. In the Override Kind drop down menu, select Weekday

12. Select the desired Day from the Weekday drop down menu

13. Set the available times for SpotOn Order for each Order Type

At least one of the Order Types need hours defined if not Closed

14. Tap Save when Override Settings Complete

Verify Overrides

This schedule will only affect the Online Ordering Site. Be sure to save the changes made. Any Overrides can be viewed on the SpotOn Order Schedule screen.

Display

  1. When the SpotOn Order Schedule Override Settings have been saved, verify they display correctly on the SpotOn Order Schedule page in the Overrides section

  2. To Edit an Override Schedule, tap the pencil Edit button

  3. To Delete an Override Schedule, tap the ( - ) button

    • A prompt will display “Are you sure you want to remove this override?”, tap Yes to remove
