Action

  1. Tap Terminal on the menu screen (if not already on Terminal screen)

  2. Enter the transaction amount

  3. On iOS devices, you will see a line titled “Extras”

    • Tap Extras to add:

      • Tax

      • Convenience Fee

      • Discount

  4. On Android Devices, tap Include Tax to turn taxes and convivence fees On/Off

  5. Tap Cash

  6. Enter the dollar amount collected

  7. Press Continue

  8. Transaction Complete screen will display, showing what change, if any, is due back to the customer

    • If desired click Send Receipt, then input the customer’s email and click Send

  9. Tap the back < arrow to return to the Terminal

  1. Tap Terminal on the menu screen (if not already on Terminal screen)

  2. Enter the transaction amount

  3. Tap Extras to view and turn taxes/convenience fees On/Off

  4. Tap Pay

  5. Select Card

  6. Swipe or Dip the customer's card on the SpotOn card reader

    • As the card is being read, you will see it’s status on the screen

  7. If the card needs to be entered manually, select Enter Manually

    • Fill out the card details:

      • Card Number

      • Expiration Date

      • CVV

    • Tap Submit Payment Info

  8. If tips are enabled, the customer will be able to choose a tip amount:

    • Preset Percent Options 1-3

    • Custom

    • None

      • Tap Complete

  9. If Signature Requirement is enabled, and the transaction amount aligns with the signature settings, you will be prompted to have your customer sign for the transaction.

    • Tap Submit Signature

  10. Transaction Complete screen will display

    • If desired, input the customer’s email in the Email Receipt field and click Send

  11. Tap the backarrow to return to the Terminal
