FAQs

Can I migrate from Dineloyal?

  • We will have to import any legacy Dineloyal merchants into SpotOn Dashboard. Doing this will clear out the history, (when rewards were earned/spent etc.) but the current balance and customer info will be carried over. 

  • Simple customer imports (name, phone number, email) can be handled through self-service on the your SpotOn Dashboard. 

  • Imports from another loyalty program can be handled by reaching out to engagement@spoton.com. 

    • If you are using another program’s loyalty cards and wants to continue using them (this is not advised), then please submit a request to restaurantsuccess@spoton.com.  

  • If you are currently using DineLoyal, please submit a request to restaurantsuccess@spoton.com. 


I am using the current SpotOn loyalty program, will I automatically be switched over? 

  • No, please speak to your account manager so they can switch you to the new program.


Can restaurants with scanners (i.e. Honeywell scanners) scan QR codes on loyalty cards (or the consumer app) through a drive through or other scenarios?

  • Yes!


Can I set up a reward to be item specific?

  • Not at this moment. Reward discounts will be applied to the entire order.


When you copy a location or organization will it carry over the loyalty settings?

  • Yes


Can a promo code and a reward be used together?

  • At this time only a reward or promo code can be applied. 


What if a customer has a $4 dollar order value and a reward for $5 off?

  • The entire reward will be applied and the full $5 will be taken off. This will result in a negative balance which cannot be reconciled.
