To access Dining Table Sectionsthe Default Meal Durations section, log into the SpotOn Reserve Web Portal, click Settings, select Dining Room, and click Sections.

Accurate wait times and reservation books are critical to your business. Modify this section to ensure accurate table turn times.

3. Navigate to Default Meal Durations

4. Modify the number of minutes for each size of party as desired (ranging from single guests to larger parties)

To achieve the most accurate wait times, and create the most reservations, it is very important to know about how long it takes certain party sizes to dine.

Edit Default Meal Duration Times

  1. In the Default Meal Durations section, there are five party sizes listed:

    • Party of 1

    • Party of 2

    • Party of 3-4

    • Party of 5-6

    • Party of 7+

  2. Use the text field next to each party size to edit the average meal duration in minutes

  3. When complete, scroll to the bottom of the page and click the blue Save button

Warning

Note: If the Default Meal Durations are too high, the system Wait Time quotes will be inflated and Reservation times will be more limited. If the Default Meal Durations are too low, the system Wait Time quotes will be too short, and there will be too many available Reservation times.
