There are BOH admin settings that allow you to hide menu items from search and/or , exclude menu items from online & third-party ordering, and even to exclude menu items from printing on receipts.

This feature is very useful when a restaurant does not wish to sell certain items, such as alcohol or specialty items, via Online Ordering.
