Single sign-on is an upgraded login experience rolling out to SpotOn Dashboard, Reporting, and Back of House. SSO will allow users to log in to all of these applications with a single username and password.

What are the benefits of single sign-on?

...

Does that mean if I have access to a single sign-on application, I have access to all single sign-on applications? For example, if I have Dashboard access, will I automatically receive SpotOn Reporting and SpotOn Back of House access?

No, access to one single sign-on SSO application does not mean you will automatically get access to all single sign-on SSO applications. You will still need a new account created for that specific single sign-on SSO application.

However, when the new single sign-on application account is set up with the same email address as other single sign-on applications you have access to, the password will be your existing single sign-on password.

Upgrade to Single Sign-On

...

All SpotOn Dashboard, Reporting, and Back of House must upgrade to single sign-on. If you do not upgrade during the recommended upgrade period, you risk being locked out of your account.

I haven’t upgraded yet. Is there anything I should do to prepare?

If you're sharing your SpotOn login info for Dashboard, Reporting, and Back of House with someone else, it's recommended for each individual to have their own accounts. For help in creating a new account, please contact support at 1-877-814-4102.

Next, you will need to set a new single sign-on SSO password.

Remember, this password will be used for all single sign-on SSO applications you have access to. Single sign-on SSO applications include SpotOn Dashboard, Reporting, and BOH.

Now, you can login using your new single sign-on password.

Help! I’m locked out of my account, and I need access now.

...

Yes, resetting a password for one single sign-on application will reset the password for all your single sign-on applications. For accounts under the same email address, they will share one single sign-on password.

What happens when I get access to a new SSO application? For example, I already have a SpotOn Dashboard account and then get an account for SpotOn Reporting.

When the new SSO application account is set up with the same email address as other SSO applications you have access to, the password will be your existing SSO password.
