Seated Party Profile

Action

Display

1. Tap a seated party’s table twice in order to view the Seated Party Profile.

  • This profile will display:

    • Table Number

    • A timer (how long the table has been sat)

    • Party Size

    • Table Flags

    • The ability to return a party to the waitlist

    • View Guest history

    • The ability to clear the table

    • Dining Notes or Permanent Notes

Updating Number of Guests in a Party

Action

Display

  1. Tap the seated party’s table twice in order to view the Seated Party Profile

  2. Select the Pencil icon

  3. Select Party Size

  4. Modify the total of guests as needed

Add Dining Notes

Action

Display

  1. Tap the seated party’s table twice in order to view the Seated Party Profile

  2. From the Seated Party Profile, click the green New Dining Notes button on the right.

  3. Add notes as needed

  4. Click Save

Add Permanent Notes

Display

  1. Tap the seated party’s table twice in order to view the Seated Party Profile

  2. From the Seated Party Profile, click the yellow-orange Add Permanent Notes button on the left

  3. Add permanent notes on the party or guest as needed.

  4. Click Save

Modifying Length of Seated Party’s Estimated Time

Action

Display

  1. Tap the seated party’s table twice in order to view the Seated Party Profile

  2. Click Estimated Duration (in blue) to the right of the Party name

  3. Click the up or down arrows as needed

  4. Click Save

Party Flags

Viewing, Assigning, and Removing Party Flags in Party Profiles

Action

Display

  1. Open a reservation or waitlist profile

  2. Flags can be assigned from 4 categories on the righthand side of the screen:

    • Section Flags

    • Table Flags

    • Event Flags

    • VIP (represented with a star)

3. Select the appropriate Party Flag to assign

  • Selected flags for the party will display at the top of the list, highlighted in gray in the Flag Assigned section

  • To remove a party flag, tap the desired gray party flag from the Flags Assigned section

    • The flag will be removed from the profile

Updating Table Flags

Action

Display

  1. Tap a seated table to reveal the seven table flags:

    • Drinks

    • Appetizers

    • Main Course

    • Dessert

    • Check Dropped

    • Dirty Table

    • Clear Table (in red)

  2. Tap on the designed flag to assign

  3. Select Clear Table to clear the table

    • Please Note: A table that is cleared cannot be restored. Always use the Dirty Table flag first, and confirm the table has been bussed before using the Clear Table button

Guest names will only appear if they originated as a waitlist or reservation and were sat. All directly sat guests will appear as “Anonymous”

SpotOn Reserve’s automated 3-color table status system (Blue [available or assigned], orange [meal in progress], and red [ready to clear table]) enables hosts to monitor tables that will be coming available with Smart Table Checks
