Deals are created in your SpotOn Merchant Dashboard. Please see Login | SpotOn Merchant Dashboard for details on accessing your Dashboard for the first time

The Loyalty & Deals settings are located in the Account Settings of your SpotOn Dashboard.

Accessing Loyalty & Deals

Action

Display

  1. Click the User Icon in the upper right to access the drop down menu

  2. Select Account Settings

  3. From the options on the left, select Loyalty & Deals


Creating Deals

Sign Up Deal

This is a one-time offer to incentivize customers to share contact details with your restaurant in exchange for a reward.

Action

Display

  • Use the Enabled/Disabled switch to toggle this option on/off

1. Click Edit 

2. Input a Name for the Sign Up Deal

3. Select the Expiration

4. Select if you would like this reward to be instant, or if the guest must first verify their email, and use this reward another time

5. Click Save


New Customer Deals

Automatically send a thank you offer that encourages new customers to hurry back for their next purchase. Customers will receive this offer via email after their first check-in at your business.

Action

Display

  • Use the Enabled/Disabled switch to toggle this option on/off

1. Click Edit 

2. Apply a Name to this deal, and set the expiry

3. Set the Frequency

4. Preview the deal, then click Save

 


Lapsed Customer Deals

SpotOn makes it simple to identify customers that haven’t checked in for a while, so they can be invited back.

Action

Display

  • Use the Enabled/Disabled switch to toggle this option on/off

1. Click Edit in the Lapsed Customer Deals section

2. Set the number of days, weeks or months since a customer’s last visit that they would be considered lapsed (Must be 1 or greater)

3. Input the Reward Name and expiry date

4. Select how often you wish to send this offer to the same lapsed customer

5. Preview the deal, then click Save

 


Birthday Deals

Automatically send a birthday gift to your customers. Customers will receive this offer on the first day of their birthday month, offer will expire at the end of the month.

Action

Display

  • Use the Enabled/Disabled switch to toggle this option on/off

1. Click Edit 

2. Provide the Birthday Deal Reward Name, and preview the offer

3. Click Save


Loyalty Widget

SpotOn Loyalty clients can now add a customizable loyalty widget to their website, allowing them to grow their customer contact list. This self-service feature empowers customers to sign up for Loyalty Rewards on their own- earning repeat business and increased revenue.

Action

Display

1. From the Merchant Dashboard, select Loyalty & Deals

2. Scroll down to Loyalty Widget

3. Enter the desired text into the Text field

All updates will display live in the preview box on the right side of the screen

4. Check the Color of the Text box to change the widget’s font color. Choose from a preselected color or enter a custom color

5. Check the Color of the Background box to change the widget’s background color. Choose from a preselected color or enter a custom color

6. From Position, choose between having the widget appear in the lower left or right of the website

7. Once all needed changes have been made, select Copy on the right side of the screen to copy the HTML code, which can then be added to the website

8. The new Loyalty Widget will now display on the website
