For this example we are duplicating the Modifier Group “*As A Cocktail” to create identical Modifier Groups with different pricing based on the Liquor prices. Liquor prices here are $4.00 or $5.00 which dictates the *Long Pour price.

Action

Display

1. Create Modifier Groups - one group as the Original, one for the $4 liquors and one for the $5 liquors

  • See Create New Modifier Group in the above section for specific instructions on creating Modifier Groups

2. Create required Modifiers, i.e., cocktails

  • See Create New Modifier in the above section for specific instructions on creating Modifiers

3. Create the required Modifier Option(s)

  • See Create New Modifier Option in the above section for specific instructions on creating Modifier Options

4. Tap on the Modifiers icon from the BOH main screen

5. Click on the magnifying glass icon to bring up the Find function

6. From the drop down menus select:

  • Group

  • Equals

  • Modifier Group to be duplicated

7. Tap OK

  • This will bring up only the Modifiers of that Modifier Group

8. Tap the check mark icon to Select All Modifiers

  • All selected Modifiers are now being edited

9. Add the Modifiers to the newly created Modifier Groups

10. Navigate to the Modifier Options settings

11. Select the newly created Modifier Option

12. In the Modifier Groups section, add the new Modifier Groups

Now there are three separate Modifier Groups, with the same Modifiers inside, all with the same Modifier Option

13. In this example, you would then update the Pricing for each Modifier in each Modifier Group appropriately

  • For example, if Tito's is $5, so you would use the modifier group "As A Cocktail - $5" on Tito's so the programmed mod buttons up-charge the correct amount.
