Post-Tax Tips Configuration
Users may select whether the suggested tip percentages should be calculated from the pre or post-tax amount.

1. From the main BoH menu screen, select the Locations icon |  |
2. In the Tip Settings section use the Calculate Suggested Tips dropdown to choose either pre or post-tax Calculate Suggested Tip defaults to pre-tax |  |
3.To override a location’s suggested tip percentages for a specific order type, select the Order Types icon from the main BOH menu screen |  |
4. From the Order Type list on the left, select the desired order type(s) needed to override the suggested tip percentages |  |
5. From the Order Type Tip Settings section, ensure Allow Tips on Order Type checkbox is checked 6. Check the Override Location Suggested Tip checkbox to use these percentages instead of the Location percentages 7. From the Suggested Tip Type drop-down, select Percentages 8. From the Default Tip drop-down, choose the desired default tip setting Do not select No Tip as the default tip setting 9. Enter desired percentages in the appropriate tip fields |  |
