Voids

With SpotOn Restaurant POS it is very easy to void item(s) from orders that were added in error, or that the guest simply changed their mind on.

Action

Display

Tap List Orders
Select Order with item(s) to be Voided
Select Item, or Items
- This will open the Item Commands menu
- You can continue to select Items when the Item Commands menu is displayed
Tap the Void button
Select the appropriate reason for the Void from the Select Reason… menu
Verify Item has been removed from the Order
- Voided items display with a strike through the Item name and price, and the reason displays in red

If the Order has not yet been Sent, simply follow steps 3-6. Once an Order is Sent, voiding items becomes a Manager Only function.

Tap List Orders Select appropriate Order Select the voided item(s) This will open the Item Commands menu You can continue to select Items when the Item Commands menu is open Tap the Unvoid button Verify the Item is no longer voided
