Refund / Void

Authorized credit card transactions can be voided and completed transactions can be refunded to customers using SpotOn Mobile.


Void a Transaction

  1. Tap the Menu button in the upper left corner

  2. Tap Transactions

  3. Select the desired transaction

  4. Tap Void

  5. A prompt will display, asking for confirmation to continue with this action

  6. Tap Void or Cancel as needed

  7. A Voided Successful popup will display

  8. If desired, email a voided receipt to the customer by selecting Send Receipt

  9. Tap the X on the top right of the screen to return to Transactions

A void will void the entire transaction

  1. Tap the Menu button in the upper left corner

  2. Select Transactions

  3. Select the desired transaction to Refund

  4. Tap Refund Transaction

  5. The Return Transaction prompt will display, including the full amount and a reminder that the refund cannot be undone

  6. Tap Refund or Cancel as needed

  7. A Refund Success popup will display at the top of the screen with full details listed below

  8. If desired, an email confirmation can be sent to a customer by selecting Send Receipt

  9. Tap the X on the top right of the screen to return to Transactions

Only the full transaction amount can be refunded
