Accepting Credit Card Transactions for the First Time
If the device is accepting credit card payments for the first time, permission to access the USB device (EMV payment device) will be prompted.

1. When payment is applied on the Restaurant POS station, the customer will be prompted for Tip Amount on the SpotOn Counter device. Customer’s may choose between:

2. Guests appl their electronic signature in the left side panel 3. Select the blue Continue button If the customer ignores the signature screen, and does not complete the process within 10 seconds, the process will auto-complete to prevent delay. | |
4. The guest will be prompted to insert or tap their card | |
5. The guest will be prompted for their choice in receipt options:

6. After the transaction as been completed, the Thank you screen is displayed, If any break in communication between the Counter device and the Restaurant POS station occurs between when payment is taken, and when it is applied to the order, the payment will be applied automatically in the background once connection is restored. |
