Restaurant Analytics

To access the analytical data for a single restaurant location, log into the SpotOn Reserve Web Portal, click Analytics, then select Restaurant.

Dining Stats (Day by Day)

  • Total tables by table size occupied for the day – shows total occupancy by party size every 15 minutes throughout the open hours of the day

  • Daily Table Turns – shows each table and how many times it turned during the day

 

Events (Date Range)

  • Events – shows all birthdays, anniversaries, and business meeting events with percentages of each during the period defined

  • Party Flag Usage – shows how often each active Party Flag was used during the period defined

 

Growth (Date Range)

  • Reservations & Wait Lists – shows the daily changes in wait list, reservations and total parties

  • Covers – shows the daily changes in wait list, reservations and total covers

 

Server Stats (Date Range)

  • Server Party Efficiency – shows how much time, on average, each server spends with each size party

  • Server Stats – shows the total tables, total covers and percentages of the totals of each for each server

 

Take Out (Date Range)

  • Take Out – shows how many orders were entered, and the result of the order

  • Customer Breakdown – shows how many new and returning guests ordered

  • Wait Time – Quoted vs Actual – compares the wait estimate with the actual wait

 

Traffic (Date Range)

  • Reservations & Waitlist – showing all completed reservations, waitlist guests, cancellations and no shows

  • Customer (Guest) Breakdown – showing new, returning and anonymous guests

  • Booking Method – showing how guests made reservations or wait lists

  • Booking Method by Status – showing if guests dined or not after booking

  • Completed Reservations and Wait List Covers – showing total guests by party size

  • Booking Method by Party Size – showing how each party size booked a visit

  • Meal Duration – Actual vs Estimate – compares the Default Meal Duration in Program Settings to the actual recorded average for the time period specified by the user

 

 

Wait Time Efficiency (Day by Day)

  • Shows the difference between the quoted wait times and the actual wait times experienced by guests. Below the graph are details of each party receiving a wait time and how accurate that quote was

 

Company Analytics

Analytical date, stack-ranked by location for a multi-location restaurant chain can be accessed by clicking Analytics, then selecting Company.

Company Data can be exported into various formats, including .csv, .xls, .pdf and more.

Booking Method (Date Range)

  • Shows how many parties booked at each location by source, such as Phone, Portal, Walk In, Web, Restaurant API, Google etc. Percentages of each source as well as the percentage of each individual location when compared with the total are presented. 

Covers (Date Range)

  • Shows the number of covers, tables and average party for each location.

 

 

Days Used (Date Range)

  • Shows the number of days each location used the SpotOn Reserve Host App

 

Events (Date Range)

  • Shows the number of birthdays, anniversaries, business meetings and call ahead for each location.

Meal Duration (Date Range)

  • Shows the average actual meal duration, by party size, for each location

Parties by Size (Date Range)

  • Shows the number of parties by party size, and the corresponding percentages of each, by location as well as the percentage of the total for each location

 

Parties Sat (Day by Day)

  •  Shows the number of parties and covers being sat every 15 minutes as well as the current occupancy every 15 minutes

 

Wait Time Efficiency (Date Range)

  • Shows the average estimated wait times in comparison to the average actual wait times, by location

Party Flag Use (Date Range)

  • Shows how often Party Flags are used by location
