Overview
With Restaurant POS tablets, servers can easily take orders at the table, using the same user interface that is displayed on the point-of-sale system.
Payments using the tablet is not currently supported.
Requires a stationary front-of-house point-of-sale system.
Requires ability to handle payments at station - not relying on the tablet for payments.
How does it work?
Fully Kiosk Setup

Navigate to the Settings>General on the tablet. Enter POS.client.restaurantpos.spoton.com/p into the Kiosk URL field. | Â |

The Kiosk App has worked well historically with SpotOn dealers. It enables restaurants to lockdown other apps in Kiosk Mode so managers can ensure servers are only using the FOH app. The layout ensures that users do not waste any real estate on the SpotOn pages.Â

Can merchants use their own tablets if it’s not a fire tablet?Â
We recommend using fire tablets, our merchants can technically still use any device with a browser to access our POS.Â
