Pre-Assign Tables to Guests

Tables for guests that have reservations or are on a waitlist can have a table preassigned to them in three ways.

  1. Double tap a guest’s reservation bubble to access the reservation or waitlist profile

  2. Tap the blue Table Assignment button in the upper right corner

    • The current suggested table is highlighted on by a blue table on the table layout

  3. Reassign the table by tapping any table that is not red

    • A red table indications conflicting reservations

  1. From the Schedule View screen, tap the Table Scheduler button at the top of the screen

  2. Select the desired party from the left hand side of the screen

    • The current suggested table is highlighted in blue

  3. Reassign the table by tapping any table that is not red

    • A red table indications conflicting reservations

  4. Press Save when complete, and press the X in the upper right corner to exit

    • With this method, you are able to continue assigning tables to all reserved guests on the left hand side of the screen. Press Save to save all changes.

If you try to save a table that cannot accommodate the party, a warning icon will display in the upper left with the table #. You will have the opportunity to select a different table. Only a manager can override this to save the table assignment.

  1. From the Main Floor view, tap the Upcoming Mode button. (Clock icon, with padlock)

  2. Select the party you wish to move, and drag their icon to the new table

This is the preferred method of changing table assignments during a shift
