Bluetooth Printer

1. Login to the BOH with your email and password and in the Administrative section click on Printers.

2. Once in the Printers section using the Model drop down menu select the option Epson M30.

3. Using the Kind drop down menu select the option for Local.

4. Using the Connection drop down menu select the option for Bluetooth.

5. Power on printer and wait for the LEDs to stop blinking.

5. Go into the SpotOn app and either in Table Layout or the login screen select Printer status.

7. Select the Search Printer button.

Note: If the device is using Android version 6 or above you will need to go into the the Android setting. In app manager select the SpotOn app. Then in permissions enable all (e.g. location, camera, microphone, audio, storage)

8. From the list of printer tap on the TM-M30ii printer you want to connect to.

9. After tapping the printer you will see a notification that you can connected to the printer.

10. Shortly following the notification that the TM-M-30ii was connected the you’ll need to press Pair. This will complete the setup and you can now print to the Epsom TM-M30ii.

11. There is not currently a way to reprint the kitchen requisition ticket. This feature is coming in the next phase, until then you’ll need to setup print fail over for the kitchen requisitions.

To start this process you’ll need to go into the BOH and select Print Failover.

Once in Print Failover press the plus button to add a new print failover.

Click on New Print Failover which is under the No Location. Enter in a Name for the print failover and use the Location drop down menu to select the location.

After enter in a name and selecting a location put a number 1 next to the printer you want to failover to.

Exit out of Print Failover and go into Printers. Then check off Enable Print Failover and use the Print Failover Plan drop down menu menu to select the failover you just created.

You will also need to set up a table layout even though the restaurant may not use it. In the BOH click on Table Layout

Click on the plus icon at the bottom left to create a new table layout

Then enter in a name for the new table layout

Use the Location dropdown menu to select where the table layout will be applied to.

Press the Edit Layout button.

Press the plus button to add a table to the layout. You can use any of the option to adjust the size or shape of the tablet. In the Table Number entry field key in a number. Finally press Submit.
