Getting Started

SpotOn Mobile makes it easy to accept tap, swipe, and cash payments from an iOS or Android mobile device.

SpotOn account must be activated prior to connecting the Bluetooth card reader to a mobile device

  1. Visit www.spoton.com and click on the Login button from the top menu, then select as Merchant

2. Enter the credentials (login credentials can be located in your email), then select the blue Log In button

3. Agree to SpotOn’s Terms of Service, and then select the desired default Account Settings

  • Connect a Facebook Business account to enable social media marketing campaigns

  • Choose the needed business category so people using the free SpotOn consumer mobile app can easily discover your business

  • We recommend that you also update your password at this time to secure your account, as you will use the same credentials to log in to the SpotOn Mobile Payments app. To update your password:

    • Click on the circle in the upper right hand corner of the screen and select Account Settings

    • Select the Users tab

    • Click on the appropriate link to reset your password by either email or with your default password

  1. Make sure your mobile device has an internet connection either via Wi-Fi or mobile connectivity (i.e. 3G, 4G, LTE, 5G)

  2. Visit the App Store on your device

  3. Search for SpotOn Payments and then download/install the app

  4. Open the app and log in with your SpotOn username and password

    • Once you are logged in you will see the terminal screen
