Conditional Print Routes

This feature can help product preparation areas determine if the item they are working on might be related to an item from another prep station that will require additional planning. This can help coordinate item timing, plating/meal temperatures, and item pairing during the order expedition process.

The Enhanced Conditional Print Route (Enhanced CPR) features can also help the order preparation and expo process through more detailed labeling and specific formatting for “secondary items” (items not typically prepped at the station, but may have context with an item that IS being prepped on the station.)

Example: Salad prep station requisition shows that the secondary Chicken prep station is also grilling a chicken breast that will likely be paired with a salad

4. Set the conditions for the route beneath When an order is sent that has… by using the drop-down menus under each of the three available conditions and making the selections as needed for the restaurant:

Items From All These Routes

  • This group represent the items, that if present together within one order, will trigger the Conditional route

  • Additional Conditional Routes can be added to suit the restaurant’s needs

Route all To…

  • If a print route in this group also exists in the first Items From All These Routes… group, then those items are primary items, any other print route items are considered secondary, and Enhanced CPR rules can be applied to their style

And Still to These…

  • This allows any print route that exists in Items From All These Routes… to have a separate primary/secondary logic from Route All To… and the same logic rules apply

  • If a print route in this group also exists in the first Items From All These Routes… group, then those items are primary items, any other print route items are considered secondary.

Enhanced CPR style rules still apply

The And Still to These… logic is not required and will likely not need to be set up/implemented in conditional print routing
