Make appropriate selections of settings based on how you want auto gratuity configured: Auto Gratuity Type - Percentage or Fixed Value (Typically, this is percentage-based) Gratuity Label Override - Enter text here if you want to see something other than “Gratuity” on the guest check Standard Gratuity Percentage - the gratuity % that will be charged Apply Gratuity Method - the total order amount the gratuity % will can be based on: After Tax, After Discounts After Tax, Before Discounts Before Tax, After Discounts Before Tax, Before Discounts
Automatically Apply Standard Gratuity - this determines when auto-gratuity will be applied to an order. Options include: Never Regardless of guest count or total (a.k.a. Always) When guest count greater than or equal to Auto Gratuity Breakpoint (Gratuity based on # of guests) When total greater than or equal to Auto Gratuity Breakpoint (Gratuity based on total $$ of order)
Auto Gratuity Breakpoint - Depending on prior setting, how many guests or what $ amount of a bill will trigger the auto gratuity on an order Start Time - if only applicable during certain hours of the day, this is the start time End Time - if only applicable during certain hours of the day, this is the end time Applicable order types - any selected order types will honor the auto gratuity rule set above Applicable Taxes - if selected, an additional tax amount based off of the total of gratuity will be added to the order.
