  1. Log in to SpotOn merchant dashboard and navigate to Catalog

  2. Select the Settings button on the left-hand navigation bar

Merchant information is imported from Dashboard but can be further customized as needed

 

 

3. Merchants can customize each of the settings below as needed for their business

 

 

 

 

 

Retail Hub

  • Merchants can use the Retail Hub to watch useful walk-through videos on different functions of Retail Catalog as first-time users

Locations

  • Customizable Merchant Features

    • Logo Upload

    • Location Name

    • Profile Nickname

    • Location Type:

    • Language

    • Allow feedback and reviews

    • Bio

    • Product Type (Products, Services, Products & Services)

    • Over Allocation (Merchant can sell more items than they have in stock in their catalog)

    • Business address

    • Business email

    • Business phone number

    • Website

    • Social Media

    • Business Hours

    • Holiday Hours

Changing Product Type settings allows different access to further setup pages

 

Channels

  • Allows merchants to see which solutions they are currently using and can toggle devices on and off as needed

Taxes

  • Merchant can set up their state sales taxes

Fees

  • Merchants can set up and customize all of their products' fees

Discounts

Merchants can customize their discounts as their business requires.

Standard discounts (default)

  • Employee and referral discounts are examples of information added as standard discounts

Tender Type Discounts

  • Specific payment discounts such as cash only, E-Commerce, and discounts received only through specific POS devices, are created in this area by toggling the required switch on

Tipping

Merchants can customize the customers’ ability to leave gratuity and tips, including calculating before and after tax and by preset percentages

Unit of Measure

Merchants can select units of measure used by their business if needed

Team Members

Merchants can add their employees and their contact information

Shipping

Shipping Methods (Default)

Merchants can customize, add new shipping methods, update their shipping rates, and add descriptions

Shipping will automatically be added into the customer’s checkout total

Local Delivery

Merchants can offer customers faster delivery of products by toggling on Local Delivery at the top

They may also add DoorDash delivery, touchless delivery, or add company driver details as needed

Local Pickup

Merchants may set up the ability for in-store pickup.

Loyalty

Merchants can set up and customize their Loyalty programs, including reward redemptions for specific products or services

Receipt

Merchants can customize their receipts with company logos, custom colors and text, and desired receipt information. Receipt previews display on the right-hand side of the screen.
