Low Stock Alerts Overview

Low stock alerts are a combination of visual cues that appear within the SpotOn Retail catalog dashboard and an evening email alert when stock for a particular item falls below a certain threshold.

These alerts notify merchants when it’s time to replenish their stock so they can meet the sales demands without delay. Merchants can enable alerts and set the stock threshold for individual products and products with variants in the Catalog Dashboard. 

Low Stock e-mail notifications will be sent to merchants at 11PM EST with details on which products are low in inventory.

Enable Low Stock Alerts

Login to Retail Dashboard and use the pop-out menu on the left Select Catalog	Open
3. Select the needed item from the product list	Open
4. From the Edit Product screen, scroll down to the Availability section 5. Use the Notify me when this product is low in stock toggle to enable Low Stock Alerts 6. Enter the desired threshold number in the Low Stock Alert Threshold field A threshold number is required. This field cannot be left blank
7. Select the blue Done button in the top right corner of the screen
8. Low Stock notifications will now display at the top of the Catalog Dashboard screen Merchants will receive Low Stock e-mail notifications at 11PM EST with details on which products are low in inventory
