Creating a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) Discount

1. Navigate to this link

2. Select Discounts from the Back of House menu

3. Select New + to create a new discounts

4. Name the Discount (for example, BOGO Pizza)

5. Select Buy x, Get y

6. Purchase Requirement “x” = Enter # of items needed to be ordered to get the discount.

7. “Y” Items Discount Applied to = Enter # of items that will receive the discount. 

• If it’s buy one, get one, enter 1 in both fields. 

• If it’s buy two, get one, enter 2 in X, 1 in Y.

8. Discount type - enter the type of discount

• Percentage

9. Discount Value - enter how much is being discounted

• BOGO 50% off - enter 50 into this field

• BOGO 100% off - enter 100 into this field

10. Order Types - Select the order types this discount will work for

• This section is required and the discount will not work if none are selected

11. Permissions - Select the job positions who can perform this discount without approval

• This section is required and the discount will not work if none are selected

12. Schedule - make any adjustments here if the discount should only be available on a specific schedule

• If this is only available on Tuesday, leave only the Tuesday box blue. 

13. Available only for the items below - CHECK THIS BOX

14. Select the group from the drop down that will be eligible for the BOGO promotion

15. Test in FOH to make sure it works as expected!

• Resulting order should appear like the figure to the right after discount
