  1. Tap Station Types

  2. Select the appropriate Station Type from the 3 templates:

    • Bartender (Multiple users working out of one or two cash drawers)

    • Cashier (One user handling the transactions of multiple users out of one cash drawer)

    • Server (Multiple users sharing a station with no cash drawer)

  3. Choose Configuration Settings
    There are numerous Configuration settings that can be changed to adapt to different business needs. Select the options best for the restaurant.

Note: This list is meant to be used as a foundation, many other settings can be customized that are not included in this list. 

Primary Menu Screen – Sets the first screen that is shown when the Menu button is pressed; IE Bartenders would prefer to see drinks first while Servers may need to see Appetizers first.

Default Order Type – Sets the Order Type the Station defaults to when starting a New Order

Order Type Prompt – Can be set to None so Default Order Type is honored and only changed when toggled, or various prompts can be selected. Please see Prompt for Order Type for more information.

Start Screen – First screen user sees when after logging into system. Servers are typically set to Table Layout and Bartenders are typically set to Menu.

Allowed Payments – Toggle accepted payment types permitted through different stations

**Note: Moby M70 EMV Payment type is different from the EMV Payment type for S300’s and Q30’s. Therefore, for a M70 would not need to use the EMV Payments setup for the S300’s and Q30’s and vice versa

4.  There are numerous Receipt/Printing Settings that can be changed to adapt to different business needs.

Consolidate Items on Receipts: When enabled it shrinks/consolidates the receipt down to display as much information/items in as little room as possible.

Consolidate Taxes on Receipts: Similar to Consolidate Items but with Taxes.

Print Call Number: Prints a # on the receipt for user to “call-out” to customer with; reset daily.

Print Receipt When Payment Taken: Yes, No, or Prompt.

Print Modifiers on Receipts: Always, Never, or When Modifier Has Price

Print Sub Items on Receipts: Always, Never, or When Sub Item Has Price.

# of Credit Card Receipts: Enter value for # of receipts needed to print out

5. The Command Bar is setup with a Default arrangement of buttons based on the station type needs, there are a total of 70 buttons that can be placed on the Command Bar.  

  • The defaults attached to the stations will work for most restaurants, but it is always worth reviewing the desired workflow
