Sync DoorDash Location

  1. Locate and click on the "Get Started" button to initiate the integration process.

 

  1. A DoorDash tab will open, prompting you to “Sign up” or “Log In” to DoorDash.

  1. Once signed in confirm name and number displayed are accurate to your business information.

  • If Name and or Number are incorrect, select Cancel to go back to the login page

 

  1. Review the displayed Terms and Conditions to ensure understanding and agreement with the provided information.

  2. After reviewing the Terms and Conditions, click on the "Continue" button to authorize sharing business information with Spoton.

  1. Select DoorDash Location from the dropdown.

  • Open the dropdown menu containing all registered locations.

  • Choose the desired location you intend to sync with DoorDash.

  1. After choosing the eligible location, click on the "Sync Menu" button to begin the synchronization process.

  • Note: Ensure that once the location is selected and the sync process is initiated, proceed with the synchronization workflow instead of advancing to the next screen.

Menu Syncing

  • While the menu syncing is in progress, the waiting screen provides real-time updates on the synchronization status without the need for any merchant interactions.

Confirm Menu

  •  View Menu:

    • Click on the "View Menu" hyperlink to review the synchronized menu.

  • Continue:

    • After reviewing the menu, click on the "Continue" button to proceed with the integration process.

Activate DoorDash

  • Activate Now:

    • To promptly commence receiving orders, click on the "Activate Now" button and start the integration without further delay.

  • Activate Later:

    • If not ready to activate immediately, choose the "Activate Later" option to defer the integration activation. This choice allows for activation at a more convenient time without the need to redo the menu or location syncing.

       

DoorDash Is Live

  • After selecting 'Activate Now,' the final congratulatory page acknowledges the successful completion of the onboarding process, marking the readiness to commence receiving orders seamlessly.


How does a merchant pause DoorDash ordering?

Follow the instructions below to toggle Online Ordering on and off at a location.

1. Log into the Express Dashboard located at dashboard.spoton.com

2. From the navigation bar on the left side of the screen, select Integrations

3. Select the DoorDash tile

4. Toggle “Accept orders with DoorDash” on or off as needed to enable or disable DoorDash Online Ordering at the location

  • Error: “You don’t have business admin permission to all stores

    • This error will display upon logging into your DoorDash account.

 

  • Steps to Resolve Business Admin Permission Error:

    • Locate and click on the hyperlink labeled “Use a different DoorDash account” on the error page.

    • Log into DoorDash with the Business admin ID that has the necessary business admin permissions.

       

  • Error: Looks like you don’t have any locations associated with your DoorDash account.

    • This error displays when Sync DoorDash with SpotOn cannot find any DoorDash Locations associated with the DoorDash Account ID that was Signed in.


  • Steps to Resolve Location Sync Error:

    • Click on the "Create a DoorDash Store" hyperlink and follow the provided prompts to create a new store on DoorDash.

    • (Or) Click on the "Use a different DoorDash account " blue button.

    • Enter the login credentials associated with the desired different DoorDash account.

    • Proceed to log in with the alternative account credentials.

       

  • Error: Menu Sync Failed

    • This error occurs during the Sync Menu section of the integration process.

  • Steps to Resolve Menu Sync Failure:

    • Contact Support: If the menu syncing fails, click on the "Contact Support" hyperlink to reach out for assistance with the syncing issue.

       

    • Try Again: To reinitiate the syncing process, select the "Try Again" option to retry the menu syncing.

       

    • Cancel: In the case the merchant would prefer to discontinue the process after the failure, click on the "Cancel" button to halt the menu syncing process.
