Edit an Employee’s Timecard
Action | Display |
1. Navigate to the SpotOn Merchant Dashboard and log in with your credentials

3. Select the timecard to edit

4. Use the Job Position menu to choose the correct position
|
|
5. Select the Date field scroll through to, or enter a date
|
|
6. Select the clock and choose the correct time 7. Select + Add a break and adjust the time per Step 5. You may also select the Trash Can icon to remove a break - it will appear grayed out until saved 8. Select Save to confirm changes |

Adding a New Timecard

5. Select the employee’s position from the Job Position dropdown menu |

6. Choose the date from the calendar or type it in using the MM/DD/YYYY format 7. Set time using the clock icon and dropdown menu 8. Select Save to confirm changes |

Timecard Management Troubleshooting Guide
Problem | Solution |
I can’t select a job position.
| Cause: Job positions are not assigned to the employee. Solution: Job positions will only appear if the selected employee is assigned those jobs. Log into the SpotOn Dashboard and assign job positions. For further information on how to assign job positions, visit this link.
Cause: The employee has only one job position assigned to them. Solution: If the employee is expected to have more than one job position, follow this link for further information on assigning the missing job positions. |
