Paying for an Order with a Gift Card

Use the Gift Card feature to pay for a guest’s bill with a gift card.

With the order that is to be paid for via gift card select, press Show Commands in the Command Bar
Select Gift Card from the Select Command … menu
Swipe the gift card on EMV reader
- Alternatively you may manually enter the gift card number (located on the back of the gift card) on the EMV reader
In the Gift Card pop up window, select Use as Payment
- If there is not enough money left on the gift card, another form of payment will be needed to finish paying for the transaction

If your restaurant frequently sells/reloads/accepts gift cards, you have the ability to add the Gift Card button directly to the Command Bar. Please see Command Bar | Restaurant FOH for more information on how to set this up.

Swipe compatibility for third-party gift cards cannot be guaranteed. The possibility exists that cards we import from previous vendors may only be utilized by manual entry into the POS. If you have questions, please contact support at (877) 814-4102.
