Signature & Tip on SpotOn Counter

Part of the payment process with the SpotOn Counter includes a screen where the guest can choose a tip amount, and a signature screen.

In the BOH tap the Payments icon
2a. Check the Tippable checkbox located in the General Information section Below the checkbox, be sure that Handheld/Countertop TransIT is selected
2b. If you would like your customers to input/select the tip amount before payment, check the Tip Before Payment checkbox.
3. Return to the BOH dashboard, select the Order Types icon then select Counter CC
4. Scroll to Order Type Tip Settings 5. Check the Allow Tips on Order Type checkbox 6. Check Override Location Suggested Tip Percentages checkbox 7. Use the Suggested Tip Type drop down menu to select Percentages or Amounts This setting determines what Tip Type suggestions the customer will be presented with at checkout 8. Set the 3 Suggested Tip Percentage/Amounts based on the Suggested Tip Type chosen in Step 7 Every order type must have an override tip percentages, even if 0. If left at zero, the only options for tips will be No Tip or Custom
9. Return to the BOH dashboard, and tap the Stations icon
10. Select the appropriate SpotOn Counter station 11. In the Settings section, check the Capture Tip with Payment checkbox

1. Tap the Payments icon in the BOH
2. Select the Credit Card payment type 3. Tap the Edit Specific Locations button
4. In the Handheld/ Countertop TransIT Settings check the Capture Signature checkbox
5. Return to the main BOH screen, and select the Stations icon
6. Under the General Information section, tick the Credit Card Signature Screen box
