Layouts

Through the SpotOn Reserve Web Portal, users have the ability to create and map out fully customizable Dining Room Layouts. When you log in for the first time, the Default Layout will be blank. If layouts have already been created, you will be taken to the Default Layout and have the ability to edit.

To access Dining Room Layouts, log into the SpotOn Reserve Web Portal, click Settings, select Dining Room, and click Edit.

  1. To add a new table, select the type of table to add from the upper right side of the grid

    • Booth (full, corner, or half)

    • Rectangle

    • Round

    • Square

    • High Top

  2. The selected table will populate in the center of the grid, drag the table to the desired location

    • Newly populated tables have a default size of 2, and the ability to accept reservations

  3. Click and hold the small blue square attached to the table and move left or right to rotate the table appropriately

  4. Click the blue Save button to save the new table(s)

  5. To delete a table, select the desired table to highlight it, then press the delete key

It is good practice to click Save in the lower left corner after making any changes to your Dining Room Layout

  1. Select a table from the Dining Room Layout

  2. In the upper left of the screen above the layout grid, you will see the table options:

    • Press ( + ) or ( - ) to increase and decrease the seating capacity of the selected table

    • Use the book icon to indicate on or off for reservations

    • Use the eye icon to indicate on or off for seating

    • Use the star icon to indicate on or off for event only seating

  3. The current table shape will display on the table shape button, i.e., booth, round, etc..

    • Click the shape button to select a new table shape from the drop down menu

  4. To change a table name or number, click the text box with the current table name/number, and input the new table number

It is good practice to click Save in the lower left corner after making any changes to your Dining Room Layout

 

 


 

Things (Shapes & Text)

There are many “things” that can be added to your restaurant layout- walls, plants, host stands, restrooms, exits, and much more.

  1.  To add a new feature, select the desired item from the Add Shape drop down menu

    • The new feature will populate in the center of the grid

  2. Drag the feature to the desired location

  3. To add a new wall, select Wall from the Add Shape menu

    • The new section of wall will populate in the center of the layout grid

    • Drag the new wall to it’s relative location

    • Click and hold the blue squares on the new wall segment to:

      • Rotate

      • Extend

    • Position, rotate, and extend the new wall segment appropriately

  4. To add new text, click the Text button

    • “New Text” will now display in the center of the layout grid

    • Drag the text to the appropriate location

    • Highlight “New Text”, then type desired text, i.e., Patio, Bar, Hostess, etc..

  5. To delete any “thing” from the Dining Room Layout, click to highlight the item, i.e., a host stand or wall, and press the delete key to remove it
