Sections

Setting up Dining Table Sections will allow your Host staff to manage wait times and server rotations separately by Section (group of tables).

To access Dining Table Sections, log into the SpotOn Reserve Web Portal, click Settings, select Dining Room, and click Sections.

  1. In Dining Table Sections, click the Add ( + ) button

    • You may have to zoom out to view the entire Dining Room

  2. Click the drop down on the box that appears and choose a Party Flag to represent the section you are creating (I.e., Bar, Patio, or a custom flag. Please see Create New Party Flags for additional information).

  3. Click each table in the layout to be assigned to this section.

    • Selected tables will appear in blue with the name of the section

    • To remove a table from a section, click it a second time and the blue color will be removed

  4. When all appropriate tables have been selected, click Save

To delete a previously created Section, click on the red trash can icon to the right of the section name.

Note: If the Section(s) does not show up in the SpotOn Reserve Host App immediately, log out and then log back in and the new Section(s) will appear
